The fourth Northeast Asian Mayors’ Forum was conducted virtually on 8th of December, 2020 on the theme “Strengthening Regional Cooperation and Tackling Common Challenges through Exchange of Cities’ Best Practices during Covid-19 Pandemic”.
The Forum was attended by more than 80 representatives including ambassadors, officials of international organizations and decision-makers, researchers from 18 cities in five Northeast Asian countries.
Ulaanbaatar city introduced its policies and responses to the Covid-19 pandemic, noted that the economic difficulties caused by the coronavirus pandemic: unemployment, social issues, and the availability and supply of medical equipment are becoming challenges in Ulaanbaatar. Moscow, Beijing and Seoul shared their experiences in implementing measures to prevent and control the pandemic.
