Initiated by the Ulaanbaatar City Governor’s Office and supported by the Asia Foundation, the Working-Level Meeting of the Northeast Asian Mayors’ Forum was successfully organized online on November 25, 2021 to prepare for the 5th Northeast Asian Mayors’ Forum.

As the initiator and organizer of the Forum, Ulaanbaatar successfully organized biennial forums in 2014, 2016, 2018, and 2020, and thematic forum in 2015.

Working-Level meeting for the 5th Forum was attended by over 40 representatives of foreign relations division from 20 cities of Northeast Asia and exchanged ideas on the theme, date, draft charter of the Forum.
